Due to upcoming relocation of MV HQ all items sold on this website are FINAL SALE. I do my very best to go into extreme detail describing items and their natural quirks and handmade nature flaws. Please be sure to read all descriptions.

However I am a pleaser and want you to be fully satisfied with your order. In the unlikely event this is not the case, please contact me to find a resolution. This MUST be done within 2 days of receiving your order. If a return or exchange is agreed upon, the item must be shipped back at your expense within 7 days of receipt.

Please email orders@mariellavilar.com to notify of a return or exchange and state a reason as to why you are returning or exchanging the item(s). It is your responsibility to make sure returned orders reach me so I advise you use trackable delivery and obtain a proof of return from the post office.

Please ensure that all items are returned clean, unused and have all of their tags and original packaging. 

MONOGRAM BASKETS + PURSES + HATS

Please be kind and gentle to your straw goods. Most of these items are hand made and ALL are hand painted. Therefore, the weaves move and will cause chipping as well as be affected during shipping. Over exposure to water and sand is not recommended as the paint may become damaged, and the normal chipping and peeling process may be sped up . The painted portion is coated with various sealers as well as UV resistant sealer that can sustain reasonable wear.

There may be variations with other items of this product such as size, shape and finish as this is a handmade/handwoven item. This is a non-refundable and non-exchangable product.

MariellaVilar.com is not liable for damaged items in transit or stolen packages. I do my absolute best to make sure boxes are securely taped and protected. If package arrives damaged please contact me immediately to see if anything can be done. Striped painted bags are FRAGILE. We may as well be dealing with glass. Anything from a humid day, or hurricane to a drop of the box during transit affects these items and I cannot prevent what could happen during shipping. I am not liable for baskets arriving with cracked paint as this is something beyond my control. If this concerns you, please do not purchase. It rarely happens but can occur. 

CUSTOMS

Custom items are owned fully by the customer requesting the work. The amount paid for services rendered to personalize a custom item will not be refunded. If you have any doubts or concerns about loving the outcome of your item, do not begin the process with me. Proofs are part of the fees and work will not begin until both parties are in full agreement over the work that is to be done.
