Sebastian is 3 and it is a great fit that will stay on but not feel too tight on the strong personality type

Paint on the hat is permanent.
I am fully aware this hat is going to get wet! It is mean to withstand water from the top and mostly from the inside. If your hat gets extremely wet/sitting in the ocean for a while, lay it out to dry after you are done. Kids are Kids.
IF you start to notice broken or loose straw due to an active hat wearer, do not be scared to use hot glue.
Please know that I do not take lightly selling things that are on the higher end side of things for children today or any day. I can wholeheartedly say this hat is meant to last and you will get that cost per wear down.
